What do hue, value and intensity mean for detailed coloring pages?

The Getty Museum's guide for teachers says color has three main parts. Hue is the color itself, like red, green or blue. Value is how light or dark it is. Intensity is how bright or dull it is.

The Getty adds that dark colors can suggest night or an indoor scene, while light colors often show a light source. On a hard page, value does the most work.
